Millwork Sales Specialist- Michigan City

Von Tobel is seeking a dynamic, goal-oriented Millwork Sales Specialist to join our team at our Michigan City, IN location. This person will be responsible for maintaining and building millwork sales that include windows, exterior and interior doors, hardware, stair systems and other project finishing material.

We are a 100% employee-owned, growth oriented company that has over 50 years of experience servicing the professional contractor, the remodeling contractor and Do-It-Yourself customers.

Responsibilities:

• Estimate materials and costs on millwork products
• Visiting job sites when needed and providing your customers with the highest level of service.
• Follow up on quotes
• Sourcing special order products
• Coordinate deliveries with our dispatcher to have products delivered in a timely and efficient manner
• Building and maintain strong relationships with customers
• Maintaining and merchandising inventory

Qualifications:

• Successful candidate must be a self-motivated team player with strong communication and math skills along with having a commitment to excellent customer service
• At least 3 years in the construction industry.
• Dedicated to learning new products and applications
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills a must
• A reliable, insured vehicle along with a valid driver’s license
• Ability to read blue prints a plus
• Basic computer skills
• High School degree or equivalent
