Sometimes a well-planned update can make a major difference in a bathroom.

For this Valparaiso project, Von Tobel designer Kate Haines helped the homeowners select a semi-custom Bertch vanity and quartz countertops that gave the room a fresh look along with practical everyday storage.

Here’s a closer look at the selections used in the project.

Bertch® Vanity – Osage Doors

For this Valparaiso bathroom remodel, Kate helped the homeowners select a semi-custom Bertch® vanity that added both storage and a fresh new look to the space.

The dual-bowl vanity is made from birch and features Osage-style doors in a Champagne finish.

The warm wood tone works well with the bright countertop and black hardware, while the combination of drawers and cabinet storage gives the homeowners plenty of room for everyday bathroom essentials.

The Countertops

Arctic White Quartz™

To complement the warm Champagne finish of the Bertch® vanity, the homeowners selected Arctic White™ quartz countertops. The solid bright-white surface has no visible pattern or veining, creating a clean, simple contrast with the cabinetry.

Quartz is also a practical choice for a bathroom because it offers a durable, easy-care surface for everyday use.

The bright countertop, warm wood tones, and black fixtures work together to give the vanity area a clean, balanced look.

The Design Process

Kate worked with the homeowners to understand how they wanted the bathroom to function and the look they were trying to achieve. From there, she helped them coordinate the vanity, countertop, hardware, and finishes so the selections worked together as a whole.

The goal was to create a bathroom that felt updated and cohesive while also adding practical storage and a comfortable dual-sink layout.

The Finished Result

The finished vanity area feels cleaner, more current, and much more functional. The warm Champagne cabinetry, bright Arctic White™ quartz, and black fixtures create contrast without making the room feel busy.

The new dual-bowl vanity also gives the homeowners significantly more storage and a layout that works better for everyday use.

If you’re considering a vanity replacement or a larger bathroom remodel, our designers can help you compare options and make selections that fit your space.
