The Traditional Cherry Kitchen
Kitchen Showroom Spotlight
This is our KraftMaid kitchen display featuring Marquette Cherry in Aged Bourbon, a rich, distressed finish where hand-rubbed corners and extra glazing bring out the natural character of the wood.
Warmth Meets Functionality
This kitchen pairs timeless cherry warmth with clever storage solutions, from hidden end cabinets to kidney bean corner inserts and tiered drawer organizers.
Every feature is designed to make your kitchen work harder while maintaining the classic beauty of traditional cherry cabinetry.
Marquette Cherry in Aged Bourbon
The Aged Bourbon finish is what makes this cherry stand out. It’s not just stained; it’s distressed with hand-rubbed corners and additional glazing that creates depth and brings the wood grain to life.
The result is cabinetry with character and warmth that feels collected over time rather than installed all at once.
It’s perfect for traditional and transitional kitchens where you want richness without feeling dark or heavy.

Integrated End Cabinets with Hidden Storage
What looks like a standard integrated end panel actually opens to reveal six inches of functional storage. It’s perfect for spices, vitamins, oils, or other small items you want close at hand but out of sight.
The genius is that when the door is closed, it looks completely seamless – no one would guess there’s storage behind it.
On the opposite side of the same cabinet, you lose those six inches internally, but from the outside, the cabinet looks standard. It’s hidden storage that doesn’t sacrifice aesthetics.

Under-Cabinet Lighting with Traditional Molding
The under-cabinet lighting is tucked behind a larger, more ornate molding that suits the traditional style of this kitchen.
The molding does double duty hiding the light fixtures while adding architectural detail that enhances the richness of the cherry cabinets.

Corner Filler Solution
Not everyone loves corner cabinets, and that’s okay. This kitchen uses corner fillers on both sides of the corner with standard wall cabinets flanking them.
Yes, you get a bit of dead space in the back corner. But, if you prefer the clean look of standard cabinets and want to avoid diagonal or easy-reach corner units, this is a perfectly valid solution.

Blind Corner Base with Kidney Bean Insert
For the base corner, this kitchen uses a traditional blind cabinet enhanced with a kidney bean-shaped pullout insert.
The curved shape gives you full access to the blind corner without crawling inside to find what you need.
Everything pulls out to you, making that typically difficult space completely usable.

Tiered Cutlery Divider
The drawer storage features a tiered cutlery divider that creates two layers within the same drawer.
Your silverware sits on the top tier, while utensils, gadgets, or serving pieces fit below.
It’s a simple way to double your drawer capacity without adding another drawer box.

9-Inch Pullout Tray Cabinet
That narrow 9-inch cabinet next to the corner? It’s fitted with a chrome pullout insert designed for cookie sheets, cutting boards, or baking pans.
Instead of stacking them in a wide cabinet where they slide around and get disorganized, this pullout keeps everything upright, accessible, and neatly contained.

Functional Drawers Under the Cooktop
Many homeowners who choose cooktops over ranges do so specifically because they want functional storage underneath.
This display delivers with working drawers below the cooktop. They are perfect for storing pots, pans, and lids right where you need them. It’s a practical use of space that a traditional range simply can’t offer.

Hearth Hood with Bonus Storage
The hearth style range hood delivers a decorative, traditional look with a wood surround.
But, it’s not just aesthetic: there’s functional cabinet storage above the hood, giving you bonus space for serving pieces, seasonal items, or anything you don’t need to access daily.
The mechanical ventilation sits below, while the storage adds both function and visual interest.

Deluxe Roll Trays
The base cabinets feature deluxe roll trays with full-extension, soft-close mechanisms and wood dovetailed construction.
These pullouts glide smoothly, closes gently, and holds up to years of daily use.
You get two in this cabinet for flexible storage of pantry items, small appliances, or whatever you need.

Removable Spice Drawer Insert
The spice drawer includes a removable wood insert. When spices inevitably spill (and they always do), you can pull the entire insert out, clean it thoroughly, and pop it back in.
No more trying to vacuum thyme out of drawer corners.
It’s still beautiful wood that looks rich and custom, but it’s practical enough for real cooking.

Built-In Message Center
The end of the cabinet run includes an integrated message center for grocery lists, school forms, or keys.
It’s one of those features that seems small until you have it, and then you wonder how you ever kept your household organized without it.
Everyone knows where to look for important notes or where to hang their keys when they walk in.
