The Sophisticated Buffet

Kitchen Showroom Spotlight

Discover our Wolf Classic buffet display and see how smart cabinet arrangement creates a space that works equally well as a coffee bar, butler’s pantry, or dining room serving station.

The Berwyn door style in Opal, a timeless painted finish, pairs with dramatic full-height granite and thoughtful details that make this simple setup feel anything but basic.

Opal Painted Finish

The Opal painted finish brings a soft, neutral tone that feels fresh and timeless.

It’s painted cabinetry at its most versatile. Clean enough for contemporary spaces, warm enough for traditional homes, and sophisticated enough to anchor a room.

The Berwyn door style keeps things classic without feeling dated.

White kitchen cabinets with black handles, a gray and white granite countertop, and a matching granite backsplash. Design includes countertop cabinets to maximize storage.

Reversed Cabinet Stack

Here’s where this design gets interesting: instead of the standard tall cabinet on bottom with a shorter one above, this buffet flips the arrangement.

The 18-inch wall cabinet sits below a 42-inch cabinet on top. This reversed stack creates visual intrigue while solving a practical problem. The lower cabinet is perfect for housing a coffee maker, Keurig, or other small appliances you want accessible but hidden.

You still get plenty of upper storage for dishes, glasses, or serving pieces.

Stacked Cabinets

Ribbon Under-Cabinet Lighting

The under-cabinet lighting in this display uses ribbon LEDs that virtually disappear—no molding needed to hide the fixtures.

As you can see, the light is there when you need it, but the source itself is nearly invisible. It’s a cleaner look that still provides plenty of task lighting for the countertop.

Under Cabinet Lighting

Bianco Antico Granite

The Bianco Antico granite countertop features soft whites and grays with subtle movement that complements the Opal cabinets without competing. The quarter-round edge keeps the profile simple and timeless.

Full-Height Granite Backsplash

This is the showstopper: the granite extends from the countertop all the way up the wall as a full-height backsplash. It’s dramatic, luxurious, and creates a focal point that makes the entire buffet feel elevated.

The natural variation in the stone becomes artwork on your wall.

Stacked Crown Molding

The stacked crown molding—a coved crown with a starter mold—adds height and visual weight to the top of the cabinets.

It’s also practical: if your ceilings aren’t perfectly level or you need to fill a gap, stacked molding gives you flexibility while creating a more substantial, custom look.

Upper kitchen cabinets with white shaker-style doors and small black handles, set against a speckled white and gray backsplash. Crown moulding finishes off this polished design.
